Ingredients:

  • 2 cups white whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup unsalted Minerva Dairy butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips (or use dark chocolate chips)

Directions:

  1. Lightly grease a bread loaf pan.
  2. Combine all ingredients.
  3. Bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes.
